Formatting & Review Guidelines

Paper Categories

  • Abstract (≤ 250 words): A synopsis of your research.
  • Extended Abstract (< 2 pages): High-level summary with preliminary results.
  • Short Paper (4–6 pages): Work-in-progress, position papers and case studies.
  • Full Paper (8–10 pages): Complete manuscripts — the standard recommended category.

Review Process

  • All papers undergo rigorous double-blind peer review.
  • Each paper receives at least 3 independent reviews.
  • Reviews evaluate novelty, soundness, significance and presentation.
  • Accepted papers are published in the ACM Digital Library, continuing the legacy of AWICT 2015 (Elsevier Procedia) and AWICT 2017 (ACM).
